Competition Obedience Class Information
Class Requirements
- All classes require that the dog be worked on either a flat collar, a martindale collar or a harness. No prong or choke collars.
- VDTC does have a few crates in the lobby that can be used to crate your dog while other dogs work in the training hall.
- Dogs can also be crated in your car if the weather permits - please ensure that your car is adequately ventilated
Any new person working on Vallejo Dog Training Club's premises must fill out the standard disclaimer once.

Competition Obedience is a structured dog sport that highlights the dog's ability to follow commands with enthusiasm and precision. Our weekly drop in classes works on the skills needed to compete at the various AKC levels of Competition Obedience: Beginner Novice, Novice, Open, etc.
